Two Christian preachers are suing British police after an officer accused them of a "hate crime" for handing out gospel literature in a Muslim area of Birmingham in February. Arthur Cunningham and Joseph Abraham say they were told to stop and threatened with arrest.

]]>Since the days of early aviation, Army pilots have played a key role in the outcome of ground battles and air missions. For pilots flying the AH-64 Apache Longbows of the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment in northern Iraq, the legacy of influencing the fight continues through careful mission preparation and teamwork. These pilots, known as the Gunfighters, are part of the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division’s efforts to sustain a constant presence over the skies of northern Iraq in support of Task Force Iron.
However, before the Gunfighters jump into their cockpits and head out into the skies of Multi-National Division-North, they must plan meticulously prior to each mission.
“First thing we do is get our mission data cards for the aircraft ready through our AMPS [Aviation Mission Planning Station computer] via our CP [command post] with all the aircraft specific data. We receive our tail number and we print out the knee-board cards and communications cards,” said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Thaddeus Menold, air mission commander 1-1 ARB.

]]>Venezuela fired live missiles from fighter jets and ships Friday during exercises intended to demonstrate the firepower of President Hugo Chavez's military.
Smoke rose from ships off the La Orchila island military base as Otomat MK2 missiles arced into the sky and Russian-made Sukhoi fighter jets flew in formation.
The televised war games allowed the military to showcase some of the hardware bought under Chavez, who says Venezuela's main threat is the United States. A U.S. Navy plane last month flew over the same Caribbean island base, drawing a diplomatic protest from Venezuela.

]]>Two suspected Shiite militia leaders surrendered Friday during American raids on their homes south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
One of the men is suspected of ordering attacks on U.S. troops, directing the kidnapping of Iraqis and smuggling Iranian weapons and Katyusha rockets into Iraq, according to a statement from the military. The other suspect tried to flee by wading through an irrigation canal, before surrendering.

I have to say that politics are very dirty, Obama has been exposed with association to racism, he has shown his distaste for wearing a flag pin. His wife "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country" if.....her husband becomes President.
McLame is a good guy he just takes the wrong stand on key issues like immigration.
Conservative voters know that he is no conservative and are left with no choice.
McLame is good in words on standing against terrorism, but he is against interrogation.
McLame is no RINO he is a republican with centrist values.
The other choice is an anti-war surrender now President.
Lets show good will and let them have Iraq.
Give surrender a chance.
I just hope that McLame chooses a strong Vice president. Otherwise some of the conservative voters will stay home.
I often wonder if the left realize how weak they are and after talking to them (at least the civil ones who are mature enough to discuss this rationally) they really are clueless. They are so wrapped up in criminal issues and civil right violations they have no idea what is going on. Blaming America first explains away every terrorist attack and world problem we face today.
Obama reflects some of this sentiment. Although most of his rhetoric is political his excuse for every stance in world events is its President Bush's fault.
What will you do sir? I will open dialog with our enemies.
You know that is a great idea why didn't we think about that?
Maybe its because our enemies are actively and openly supporting Hezbollah.
